Hujan Bulan Juli

begitu saja hujan menghampiri teras rumah, tanpa bertelegram,

berkuda putih, menyandang sekatong air, menyusuri jalan kecil

hujan membisu dan tak pernah mau berkabar

begitu saja hujan menghampiri teras rumah, mengisi kantong air
di punggung kuda putihku, lalu mengajakku menyusuri jalan kecil,
kembali mengetuk pintu demi pintu, sambil terus membisu, tak
peduli daun-daun mangga itu mulai menggigil
